$270K Cash-Out Exposes GTA 6 Leak as Crypto Pump-and-Dump Scheme
On August 27, 2026, blockchain investigators discovered that Cyberleek, the anonymous group behind the Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) footage leak, had cashed out $270,000 from wallets linked to their operation.
The leaked GTA 6 gameplay clips were branded with a Solana memecoin called $CYBERLEEK, which was launched on August 15, three days before the first leaks appeared. The token's price exploded in value as it reached a market cap of nearly $22 million and trading volume above $112 million.
However, within hours of the cash-out, the token's price collapsed by as much as 86%, ending a scheme that had turned GTA 6 into a marketing engine for the crypto pump-and-dump. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not endorsed or been linked to $CYBERLEEK in any way.
