$270K GTA 6 Leak Cash-Out Triggers $CYBERLEEK Token Crash
A Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) leak involving unauthorised gameplay footage has taken an unexpected turn into cryptocurrency drama. The leaker, known as Cyberleek, promoted a Solana-based memecoin called $CYBERLEEK alongside the leaked footage, creating a direct relationship between interest in GTA 6 and activity surrounding the token.
The reported scheme appears to have relied heavily on trading activity rather than selling a large supply of tokens. Blockchain analysis suggests that wallets associated with the operation provided liquidity for $CYBERLEEK trading, generating fees when traders bought and sold tokens.
On August 27, wallets linked to Cyberleek moved around $270,000 in cryptocurrency, coinciding with a steep collapse in the token's value. The transactions were significant because they occurred as Rockstar Games continued its official GTA 6 marketing campaign, including the release of an Extended Look presentation.
The combination of falling interest in the leaks and growing attention on the token's wallet activity created a difficult environment for the operation. The $270,000 cash-out was estimated to be more than $200,000, but the exact profit remains difficult to establish due to the anonymity of cryptocurrency transactions.
