Bedrock Protocol, a multi-asset liquid staking platform, has fallen victim to a security exploit that resulted in the loss of approximately $2 million in assets. The hackers targeted uniBTC, a synthetic Bitcoin token used in decentralized finance.

This is the third consecutive hack in recent days, following BingX's $50 million breach and Truflation's $4.6 million malware attack. Bedrock confirmed the breach on September 27 via a post on X and stated that the root cause of the exploit had been 'handled'.

The company reassured users that all remaining funds were safe and plans to issue a reimbursement plan soon. A comprehensive reimbursement plan is being finalized, with a post-mortem report to follow.
