$30 Billion Milestone for Aave as On-Chain Liquidity Recovers
Aave's decentralized finance lending platform has reached a significant milestone, surpassing $30 billion in total deposits. According to founder and CEO Stani Kulechov, this figure marks a recovery in on-chain liquidity within the sector.
The $30 billion in deposits represents a 30 percent increase during the third quarter of 2026 to date. This metric reflects the total value of assets supplied by users across Aave's markets, serving as a core indicator of available capital for lending activity.
As one of the leading decentralized finance protocols, Aave enables users to supply assets and borrow against collateral through smart contracts. The protocol's governance is handled via a decentralized autonomous organization, with a significant share of the overall decentralized lending market.
