Liquid Network, a Bitcoin Layer 2, has fallen victim to a security incident in which purported white-hat hackers withdrew approximately $320 million from the Liquid Federation wallet.

The hackers allegedly took around 4,000 BTC from the wallet. Blockstream is attempting to contact the parties involved through a signed on-chain message.

This incident highlights potential security and custody risks for crypto Layer 2 adoption, DeFi, DEX/CEX interoperability, and wallet trust.
