48% of Crypto Exchanges Fall Short on Basic Security
Recent research has revealed that nearly half of all cryptocurrency exchanges lack three fundamental security criteria.
The study, which examined 193 exchanges, found that only 10 meet all three criteria: Reservatory Test, Penetration Test, and Bug Bounty Program.
CoinGecko, a leading exchange aggregator, recently updated its cybersecurity ratings to include 166 centralized exchanges. The new assessment takes into account not just security but also payment power and transparency.
