The Trump administration's corruption has reached new heights with a $500 million deal between the president's family and an investment firm backed by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's national security adviser.

Tahnoon, also known as the 'spy sheikh', is part of the UAE's ruling family and has a $1.5 trillion empire under his control.

The deal gave him and co-investors a 49% stake in World Liberty Financial, the Trump family's crypto exchange, which earned at least $1.4 billion last year from sales of their near-worthless memecoin, $TRUMP.

The president has actively sought to boost the crypto industry, signing legislation to legalize and promote stablecoins like those marketed by World Liberty Financial.

A new poll finds that 77% of Americans believe a sitting president should not be allowed to profit from business ventures that could be affected by their policies and decisions.
