$5,000 Trump Dividend Sparks Crypto Market Reactions

President Donald Trump announced a $5,000 'Trump dividend' for every American adult if Republicans keep control of Congress in November.

The proposal would cost roughly $1.2 trillion and requires congressional approval to fund it.

Last time Trump floated a similar idea, the crypto market reacted positively, with Bitcoin (BTC) surging 5% and other assets like Ethereum (ETH) gaining 6%, XRP jumping 8.5% within 24 hours.

However, that proposal never paid out due to a Supreme Court ruling that IEEPA does not authorize tariffs as a taxing mechanism.
