$60M Crypto Fraud Lawsuit Targets Wilmington Businessman's Investment Firm
A Wilmington businessman and his company are leading a proposed nationwide class-action lawsuit against a cryptocurrency fund, alleging that an insider stole nearly $60 million in investor assets.
The lawsuit accuses Quantum Blocks Capital, LP (QBC) of promoting a 'professionally managed' fund while giving a single manager inadequate control over millions of dollars. The plaintiffs claim they personally invested at least $2.45 million in USDC between December 2024 and September 2025 after being promised twice-yearly returns of 10% to 20%.
The lawsuit alleges that QBC managers Jason A. Williams and Domenico Grillo personally solicited the investments, but that investor funds were instead routed directly into the hands of QBC manager Clive Smith without board oversight or dual-authorization controls.
