$60M Exit Claim Leaves No Trace in Public Records for Monad Investors
A $60 million exit claim for early investors in Monad (MON) has left no official record, according to a review of public records by Crypto Daily. The company's announcement archive and Coinbase disclosure show no evidence of a company-initiated tender, buyback or other cash exit totaling $60 million.
The public sale of MON on Coinbase offered up to 7.5 billion tokens at $0.025 each, with an implied valuation of $2.5 billion fully diluted. The initial supply of MON is 100 billion, and roughly 19.7% was allocated to investors under a four-year lockup.
The disclosed vesting schedule shows that investor tokens face a one-year cliff from the mainnet launch on Nov. 24, 2025, followed by equal monthly releases over four years. This means that even if there was a cash exit for early investors, it would have operated separately from the scheduled token releases and required a documented tender or repurchase arrangement.
Launch coverage of the public sale reported that demand started hot but then fizzled, citing undersubscription risk and possible sell pressure as supply reached the market. The first scheduled investor unlock arrives Nov. 24, 2026, followed by equal monthly releases under the disclosed four-year schedule.
