$7 Billion Stablecoin Outflow from Binance Sparks Risk-Off Sentiment

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has experienced a significant outflow of stablecoins this year. According to on-chain data shared by crypto analyst Darkfost, Binance has seen approximately $7 billion in cumulative net stablecoin outflows since the start of 2025.

This trend is not limited to July, with around $2.2 billion in net outflows reported for that month alone. The steady exodus of stablecoins from Binance suggests that investors are pulling capital out of the crypto market altogether, a behavior typically associated with risk-off sentiment.

The lack of fresh stablecoin inflows is seen as a bearish signal, indicating that investors are not preparing to buy but rather exiting the space. This could potentially limit upside momentum and prolong sideways price action in the market.
