$738K Stolen from Hyperliquid User Account as Security Gaps Exposed
A user account on Hyperliquid was compromised, resulting in the loss of approximately $738,600 in USDC. The attacker also forcibly undelegated 10,287 HYPE from the account.
The stolen funds were moved through Circle's CCTP bridge and split across at least five hops before landing at a Bitget-linked deposit address.
What makes this incident noteworthy is not the theft itself but rather the fact that the staked HYPE has yet to be withdrawn, leaving the victim with a week-long waiting period during which they can do nothing to stop the process.
