$7.5M Seed Round Fuels Entravel's Expansion into Mainstream Travel
Crypto travel infrastructure provider Entravel Group has secured $7.5 million in seed funding to expand beyond its Web3 partners and into mainstream travel.
The round was co-led by Ethereal Ventures, chaired by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, and Finality Capital, with other investors including GSR, Varrock, G1 Ventures, Seier Capital, Veris Ventures, Funfair Ventures, and WTG Ventures participating as well.
The company's white-label booking stack powers hotel search in apps like Kraken and MetaMask, catering to over 300 million users across more than 40 brands. Entravel builds on a single platform three connected businesses: MocatravelX contracts directly with hotels for inventory and rates; RateStellar aggregates additional supply using AI to standardize room types across sources, providing access to over 2.2 million hotels.
The average booking conversion rate across Entravel-powered platforms exceeds 10%, compared to the industry benchmark of about 1% to 3%. Users can save up to 60% on selected hotels, driven by direct hotel relationships and multi-source inventory.
