An Ethereum Safe wallet was exploited by an attacker in an attempt to extract $7.7 million in rsETH, but the funds were intercepted by a MEV bot.

The attack began with the use of a public keeper multicall to direct a custom Uniswap v4 liquidity module into an attacker-created hooked pool, where ETH was unwrapped into rsETH.

The affected wallet belonged to an unidentified user and roughly $7.73 million in rsETH had been lost at the time of the initial report by Blockaid.

A bot called Yoink, which monitors blockchain transactions for profitable opportunities, front-ran the attack and captured the rsETH before the original exploiter could take control of the funds.
