$7.9 Million Stolen in Coinsbuy Crypto Hack Amid Rising 2026 Attacks
Crypto payments platform Coinsbuy has reportedly suffered a significant hack, resulting in the theft of over $7.9 million in cryptocurrencies.
The attack occurred around 13:00 UTC and affected wallets linked to both Ethereum (ETH) and Tron (TRX), according to Specter Analyst.
Coinbuy temporarily paused deposits and withdrawals following the incident, but has since resumed services.
The attacker began laundering the stolen funds into Monero (XMR) through exchanges, with ChangeNOW freezing a six-figure amount linked to the stolen funds.
