Crypto payment processor Coinsbuy was hit by a reported $7.9 million drain across Ethereum and TRON on August 9, around 13:00 UTC.

Blockchain investigator Specter first flagged the incident, with subsequent monitoring from security firms confirming the loss.

The stolen funds were traced through ChangeNOW, FixedFloat, and BingX after being converted into Monero by the attacker.

Coinsbuy temporarily paused deposits and withdrawals before services resumed hours later, but the precise attack vector remains unconfirmed.
