$8.7M in Hype Tokens Migrated to Coinbase by Multicoin and Bitwise

Two prominent cryptocurrency investment firms, Multicoin Capital and Bitwise, have made significant moves in the HYPE token market. According to on-chain data from Lookonchain, both firms deposited a combined $8.74 million worth of HYPE tokens into Coinbase over the past 10 hours.

Multicoin Capital transferred 137,100 HYPE tokens valued at approximately $7.51 million to Coinbase Prime, while Bitwise deposited 22,463 HYPE tokens worth roughly $1.23 million about nine hours ago.

The timing and size of these transfers have raised concerns among market observers who view exchange deposits as a potential precursor to selling. While not a definitive indicator of an imminent sell-off, large movements by institutional players can influence market sentiment and short-term price dynamics.
