$989M DEX Transaction Volume Sets New Record on Robinhood Chain
Rapid growth has been observed on Robinhood Chain in terms of both liquidity and transaction volume. In August, the network reached an all-time high in single-day decentralized exchange (DEX) transaction volume, totaling $989 million. This represents a significant increase from previous months, with total value locked (TVL) hitting a record high of $708 million, up approximately 100% on a monthly basis.
The stablecoin supply on Robinhood Chain also grew significantly during the same period, reaching approximately $770 million, a 47% increase compared to the previous month. This growth is attributed to various projects used on the network, including utility and infrastructure-focused initiatives.
One notable example of this trend was the rise in market capitalization of token launch platform $PONS, which increased from $20 million to over $200 million in August alone. Additionally, LONG, another key differentiating feature of Robinhood Chain, saw its pairing with memecoins and tokenized shares attract significant attention.
Artificial Inu (AI), launched on LONG and paired with tokenized Nvidia stock (NVDA), experienced a surge in market capitalization from $1.5 million to a peak of $135 million by August 30th. Liquidity in the NVDA pool exceeded $3.3 million, more than three times that of the WETH pool.
