Aave Founder Backs Clarity Act for Institutional DeFi Influx

Aave founder Stani Kulechov is a proponent of the Clarity Act, which would allow traditional banks to custody and lend crypto assets without separate approvals.

This legislation could attract institutional funds that currently can't directly access DeFi, expanding Aave's TVL and revenue scale.

Aave has weathered the 2022 bear market and continued to grow due to its over-collateralization model and conservative risk control design.

The Clarity Act would enable traditional financial institutions to participate in DeFi by reducing compliance risks and approval costs, shifting the funding supply structure from 'crypto-native funds dominating' to a dual-track pattern of 'traditional bank funds coexisting with crypto-native funds.'
