$AAVE Price Breakout Targets $200 as DeFi Segment Heats Up
Aave's token price has broken out of its consolidation phase and is now targeting $150 and beyond. After a nearly 10% surge to around $137, buyers are reclaiming a key resistance band that had capped Aave for weeks.
The breakout coincides with renewed strength in the DeFi segment and increased expansion in Aave V4 deposits. The market is testing whether Aave can convert its recent breakout zone into support and push toward $150 before challenging the larger $200 resistance.
Aave's relative strength has become a key feature of the current move, with traders returning to established protocols like Aave that offer deep liquidity and active lending markets. The protocol's V4 expansion has also provided a fundamental justification for increased borrowing, lending, and stablecoin activity.
The $150 level is now seen as a decisive supply zone, with a daily close above it confirming that buyers have absorbed the immediate overhead supply. A move to $200 would represent roughly 46% upside from current levels, but the key support remains at $120-$125. A successful retest of this area would reinforce the resistance-to-support flip.
