Aave Labs has announced that it will be raising USDe borrowing costs across five Aave V3 markets, pending approval from the Risk Steward process. The proposed changes would increase the base variable borrow rate for USDe from 5% to 6% and cut Slope1 by one percentage point in each market.

The affected markets are Core, Plasma, Monad, Mantle, and Avalanche, which hold around $323.8 million in USDe debt against a total of $1.18 billion supplied. The proposed changes would increase borrower APRs by 13 to 89 basis points, with the largest impact on Mantle, which has the lowest utilization.

Aave Labs has also launched an official AI server for live protocol data and transaction preparation, which uses Aave Kit to apply calculations from its official interfaces. The server allows assistants to read protocol data and prepare transactions, while keeping every final approval and wallet signature with the user.
