Aave Soars 3.76% as Kalshi Listing and Whale Buying Fuel Rally
Aave (AAVE) has seen a surge of 3.76% in recent hours, driven by a combination of factors. The launch of AAVE perpetual futures on Kalshi, a regulated US derivatives platform, expanded access and generated new attention.
The listing also triggered hedging and speculative flow from both bulls and bears who previously had limited access, reinforcing the perception of AAVE as a 'blue chip' DeFi asset.
A large whale wallet reportedly spent about $4.73 million across several assets, including roughly $1 million in USDC to buy about 7,274 AAVE.
The move also fits within a broader environment that is already favorable for Aave and DeFi tokens, with altcoins seeing a modestly risk-on phase and DeFi fundamentals remaining strong.
