Aave Unlocks Early Access to iOS App, Leaves Android Users Waiting
Aave has opened early access to its iOS mobile app, allowing some users to start exploring its consumer-level savings product. However, Android and web users will have to wait in line.
Aave founder Stani Kulechov mentioned that the 'Ghost Pass' feature allows users to invite friends to skip the waiting list. The app is designed as a savings application, supporting bank account and stablecoin deposits. Users can connect their bank accounts and credit cards, with stablecoin wallets also available for deposit and withdrawal on the Arbitrum network.
Funds deposited into the app generate interest through Aave's open lending market, with assets being supplied to lending pools and interest paid out to savers. Aave Labs had previously stated that its iOS waiting list had around 50,000 registered users in July.
