Aave V4 Deposits Soar to $806M in Three Months
Aave's fourth-generation lending protocol has reached a significant milestone in just three months since its mainnet launch. User deposits on Aave V4 have hit $806 million, a figure that represents a 30% jump over the past seven days and a new all-time high for the platform.
From $50 million to $806 million is an impressive growth arc, especially considering it took four months to reach this level. The protocol has grown roughly 16 times in under four months since its launch on May 4.
The core architectural change driving this growth is a shift to what Aave calls a 'hub-and-spoke' liquidity model, which makes the system more efficient by allowing capital deposited in one market to be shared across others.
What's striking about this growth is that it appears organic and not driven by external catalysts such as token airdrops or memecoin frenzies. The recovery of liquidity within the broader Aave ecosystem and integrations with networks like Avalanche and EtherFi on Ethereum may have contributed to the surge.
The AAVE token has also seen significant price increases, rallying between 12% and 15% in recent weeks, closely tracking the deposit growth.
