ABFinance Joins Ranks of Failed Crypto Exchanges Amid Bear Market
ABFinance, a US-compliant cryptocurrency trading platform founded by former Bybit co-CEO Helen Liu, has announced the suspension of its operations. This decision comes nearly five months after its announcement in March 2026.
The platform was built with compliant licensing from the first day and aimed to combine deposits, earnings, and spending under the US regulatory umbrella.
According to an official statement on X, the planned launch will not move forward. The team thanked its community and partners but did not provide specific reasons for the exit or a closure timeline.
The suspension of operations marks another failure in the crypto market, which has seen over 100 projects close down in 2026 due to poor financial conditions.
