ABTC Q2 Results: $67M Revenue Despite $57M Net Loss Amid Record Production
American Bitcoin Corp (ABTC) has released its Q2 results, revealing $67 million in revenue despite a net loss of $57.2 million. The company achieved record production levels, producing approximately 932 BTC, with each coin generating around $71,900 in revenue.
The net loss was primarily driven by a digital asset impairment charge of $71.2 million. However, the company's gross mining profit totaled approximately $33 million, with margins holding steady at around 49%.
American Bitcoin Corp also grew its Bitcoin holdings to about 8,002 BTC, surpassing 8,000 for the first time. Around 3,090 BTC remained pledged as security under equipment financing agreements with Bitmain, accounting for nearly 39% of total Bitcoin reserves at quarter-end.
