ADA Price Falls Despite x402 Integration: Why the Bearish Trend Continues

Cardano's ADA token has fallen around 3% in the past 24 hours to trade near $0.204, despite its recent integration with the x402 payment standard.

The integration allows for machine-to-machine payments without conventional accounts or checkout systems, but its effect on ADA's price depends on applications adopting it and increasing transaction activity.

Price action over the past week shows that buying has remained weak since the announcement, with ADA trading below $0.21 for much of the period.

The decline extends a pattern that developed in late August, where ADA was pushed back towards $0.20 after briefly trading above $0.24.
