ADA Rally Falters as Whale Activity Signals Potential Pullback
Cardano's (ADA) recent price surge has raised questions about its sustainability. After recovering from around $0.14 to briefly touch $0.20, traders are wondering if ADA can maintain its momentum or is due for a pullback.
On-chain data suggests that large ADA holders have been reducing their holdings. According to analyst Ali, the number of wallets holding between 1 million and 10 million ADA fell from 2,370 on August 2 to 2,340, indicating that 30 whale addresses have exited this range. This decrease could reflect profit-taking or redistribution among larger holders.
However, if this trend continues, it may limit ADA's upside potential and increase the likelihood of a short-term correction. On the other hand, stabilization or renewed accumulation among these wallets would weaken the bearish interpretation and support another attempt at $0.20.
