Aerodrome Pools Give Investors 24/7 Access to Equity Trading
Aerodrome's cbStock pools are giving investors a chance to trade equities on Coinbase's Base blockchain around the clock, Monday through Sunday. The platform launched these liquidity pools for tokenized shares of Nvidia (NVDAc), Apple (AAPLc), Meta (METAc), and Google (GOOGLc) on August 24.
In their first days online, these equity pools attracted $103 million in trading volume, with daily peaks reaching around $27 million. The NVDAc pool, which tracks Nvidia shares, began with an initial liquidity of approximately $957,000.
Aerodrome's governance token, AERO, saw a price increase of about 11% to around $0.53 following the announcement. These tokenized stocks are backed 1:1 by actual shares held in regulated custody under Abu Dhabi Global Market regulations.
