Aerodrome's Price Drop May Be Nearing Its End
Aerodrome's AERO token has suffered a decline of over 10% in the past 24 hours, falling to $0.55 amid a broader crypto market drop of 1.45%. The price slide comes after an uptrend that began on September 2nd.
The decline is attributed to market-wide profit-taking and capital flight from Base Chain coins, including Hunter Biden's Laptop (LAPTOP), which drained liquidity and put pressure on Aerodrome as its primary liquidity engine. DEX volumes have remained above $500 million over the past three days, with AERO trading around $0.68.
Aerodrome's market structure outlook suggests a correction phase, but technical indicators point to a potential rebound. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) has bounced from the neutral level and trades at 0.05, while the Chandelier Exit indicator shows a bullish crossover. If bulls succeed in defending the $0.55 zone, AERO could bounce back to $0.68, representing 22% gains.
Aerodrome's buyback program has acquired and locked 171K AERO, worth around $100K, which may mitigate selling pressure. However, the buyback volume is minimal compared to the broader market's selling pressure.
