AGCX Launches in UAE, Offering Zero-Fee Crypto Trading to Residents
Abu Dhabi-based Arab Global Crypto Exchange (AGCX) is set to launch on September 10, 2026, offering UAE residents a locally regulated platform to trade virtual assets. The exchange will allow users to deposit AED directly from UAE bank accounts and make crypto deposits and withdrawals with zero AGCX platform fees.
The UAE has become a hub for digital assets, but moving between AED and cryptocurrencies can still be challenging for local users. Many rely on offshore exchanges that do not offer native AED support and may involve additional currency conversion costs and foreign regulatory considerations.
AGCX operates under a license issued by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) and has implemented measures to meet applicable UAE anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) requirements. The platform will offer spot, futures, and options trading across major digital asset pairs, as well as staking for supported crypto assets.
