AI Agents Flock to Ripple's RLUSD Stablecoin in Micropayments

Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin is gaining traction as AI agents increasingly opt for its predictable value in micropayments, according to data from the XRPL AI Hub.

A recent analysis revealed that AI scripts spent a significant amount of RLUSD (602 units) versus XRP (209 units) across 554K transactions, with RLUSD usage being about 105% higher than XRP in dollar terms.

This trend suggests that AI-driven micropayments prioritize price stability over volatility, which could be beneficial for Ripple's ecosystem as a whole. While XRP remains the main asset on the XRP Ledger, RLUSD may become the go-to choice for predictable payments and a preferred unit of account.
