AI Agents Get Budgets with Orla's Agent Wallet Feature
Orla, a budgeting app for people whose money lives in banks, exchanges and crypto wallets, has introduced agent payments. This feature allows connected AI agents to hold their own stablecoin wallet and pay for services within limits set by the owner.
The agent wallet is funded with USDC or USDT, and its entire deposit serves as the budget. The app ensures that no bug, prompt injection, or bad day can spend more than what was put in. If a payment exceeds the daily cap or goes outside trusted addresses, it becomes an approval request for the owner to sign or reject.
Orla's reports show agent spending in two columns: what the machine decided and what a person signed. The app also integrates with other services like Claude and ChatGPT using MCP connectors. New agents start in observation mode, waiting for human acceptance before making any transactions.
