AI Audit Unearths Over 7,900 Potential Security Issues in Bitcoin Projects
A recent AI-driven security audit of Bitcoin projects uncovered a staggering number of potential vulnerabilities. The Moonshot AI model Kimi K3 examined 501 open-source projects over 108 hours and identified 7,958 potential issues, with 1,280 rated critical or high severity.
The audit found that while AI can accelerate detection, only 24.7% of the issues had reproducible evidence, highlighting the need for human verification.
BTCPay Server addressed a critical two-factor authentication flaw that was actively exploited by attackers.
