AI Sector Stages Recovery Amid Governance Controversy
The AI sector has staged a recovery, adding $0.7 billion to its market value over the past week and clawing back 4% in the process.
Majors like Bittensor (TAO), Render (RENDER), and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) did not fare as well, however, shedding 5.7%, 4.4%, and 8.6% respectively.
On the other hand, smaller players like DeXe (DEXE), Venice Token (VVV), Filecoin (FIL), Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) all saw significant gains of 47.1%, 11.2%, 7.1%, and 7% respectively.
Bittensor is also making headlines for its governance proposal, which involves implementing a 'Locked Stake' system that would require subnet owners to lock TAO for months or years in exchange for voting rights and subnet ownership.
