AI Wallets Favor Dollar-Pegged Stablecoin Over XRP Amid Price Imbalance
The economic gap between XRP and RLUSD in AI wallets has reached a 105% imbalance, with bots steadily increasing their turnover in RLUSD while ignoring XRP due to its price. Over the past seven days, AI scripts spent just 209 XRP, processing 554,007 transactions, while transaction volume in RLUSD reached 602.27.
The machines' shift towards fiat-denominated settlements is not temporary, as data from the XRPL AI Hub dashboard shows that bots have no plans to return to the native token. The trend suggests that the machines are prioritizing the dollar-pegged stablecoin over XRP due to its price behavior.
XRP's price remains prohibitive for autonomous software executing millions of micropayments, with an average transaction size of $0.0035. Program limits hard-coded in dollars are depleted instantly at this exchange rate, leading bots to keep all transaction flows within RLUSD.
