AIxCrypto Holdings Abandons Crypto Treasury Amid Robotics Pivot
American technology microcap AIxCrypto Holdings (AIXC) has decided to liquidate its digital asset portfolio, including Bitcoin, XRP, and other cryptocurrencies. The company filed an amendment to its Form S-1 with the SEC on September 4, 2026, citing heavy financial losses of around 50%. Management is trying to shift investors' focus towards the robotics market, where AIXC plans to relaunch its business through the RoboShare platform.
The company disposed of 33.49 BTC, 497.56 ETH, and 6,325.92 SOL, as well as smaller positions in LINK, BNB, and ADA. Its XRP holdings were described as 'immaterial' in regulatory filings. This is not the first instance of small-cap corporate players cutting losses on altcoins to save their core business.
AIXC's decision reflects a shift towards pragmatism in the corporate sector, where institutions are changing their tactics and replacing accidental investors with more calculated players. Tokyo-based Remixpoint made a similar move by clearing out its altcoin holdings to purchase energy storage systems, while retaining only Bitcoin on its balance sheet.
