Ajna Protocol Exploited for $775K Due to Oracle-Free Design Flaw
Ajna Protocol, a lending platform that operates without price oracles, lost approximately $775,000 in ETH due to an exploit.
The attacker used internal liquidation accounting instead of external price feeds to execute the attack, impacting various liquidity pools such as syrupUSDC, wstETH, rETH, cbETH, WBTC, and WETH/USDC.
Defimon detected a 'prepared attack' over an hour before the first exploit transaction took place but Ajna did not take any action to secure their platform.
