Algorand (ALGO), a proof-of-stake layer-1 blockchain for fast, low-cost transactions, has broken out of a descending triangle pattern that had capped its price since late June.

The breakout is reinforced by a bullish EMA crossover, where the shorter EMA at $0.085018 crossed above the longer EMA at $0.082837, both sitting beneath the current price of $0.088807.

On-chain fundamentals suggest network health, with 8.97B ALGO (89.69%) already in circulation and 56.872M ALGO locked across various categories.

The Algorand Foundation's treasury holds 680.779M ALGO, while governance and market operations allocations are minimal by comparison.
