Aligned Unveils Native Token $ALIGN to Simplify Financial Product Development on Ethereum
Aligned has launched $ALIGN, its native token on the Ethereum stack. The token is part of Aligned's full-stack infrastructure project aimed at making it easier for fintechs and institutions to build financial products on Ethereum.
The current landscape sees less than one percent of global assets stored on-chain, with most being held as stablecoins, tokenized treasuries, and wrapped assets. Building on top of these assets is a complex process that involves integrating multiple vendors and services, making it harder for companies to go on-chain.
Aligned's goal is to simplify this process by providing a single integration point for wallets, rollups, interoperability, and zero-knowledge services. This is achieved through its stack, which includes the Proof Aggregation Service, Wallet-as-a-Service, Rollup-as-a-Service, the LambdaVM, and the interoperability protocol.
The $ALIGN token will be used to pay for services across Aligned's stack. With a fixed supply of 10 billion tokens, about 16% is circulating at launch. The tokenomics can be found on the ALIGN website, detailing the allocation and Genesis airdrop.
