AlphaPepe Seeks $0.08 Listing After Stablecoin Market Surpasses $257B
The combined market value of Tether's USDT and Circle's USDC has surpassed $257 billion, making them the largest stablecoins in terms of liquidity. This figure is significant because it represents the amount of dollar-linked capital that can be used for trading, payments, and on-chain settlement without first moving through traditional bank accounts.
AlphaPepe, a meme token, is using this infrastructure to its advantage by pricing its token at $0.02845 during presale and planning to list it at $0.08. The project's current price represents an 181% increase from the presale price, making it an attractive opportunity for buyers.
The stablecoin market has grown significantly in August, with USDT and USDC adding approximately $1.7 billion after contracting by around $10.8 billion between May and July. This growth indicates that more dollar-linked capital is entering or remaining inside crypto, creating a larger pool of liquidity that can be used to fund various projects.
AlphaPepe's planned listing on centralized exchanges, including Azbit, BiFinance, and Biconomy, will provide another route for buyers to access the token using stablecoins. The project's use of AlphaSwap, an AI-powered DEX, will also help users assess available liquidity before a swap, reducing the risk of slippage and price disruption.
