Altcoin Activity Surges: Santiment Identifies Top Gainers Amid Bitcoin Stagnation
Crypto analytics firm Santiment is highlighting three altcoins that are gaining attention from investors. Despite Bitcoin's narrow trading range, Compound ($COMP), Cronos ($CRO), and Rollbit ($RLB) have seen significant increases in active addresses on their networks.
According to Santiment data, the number of active addresses on Compound has reached 1,400, while Cronos has hit 521 and Rollbit 120. This surge in activity is attributed to various factors for each network: integration efforts for Compound, ecosystem-supporting developments for Cronos, and token economics for Rollbit.
The data suggests that the catalyst for this increase is different for each network, but a common thread is the significant rise in on-chain mobility. While an increase in active addresses does not necessarily mean a price increase, these altcoins are currently experiencing renewed user interest.
