Altcoin Consolidation: XRP, ADA, SOL Struggle with Fading Momentum
Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL) are consolidating as their bullish momentum fades, according to recent technical analysis.
XRP is currently trading around $1.40, holding a constructive bias above its 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $1.3550. However, the altcoin's momentum indicators are showing early signs of easing, with the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) slipping below its signal line and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) around 59.
The 200-day EMA provides immediate support for XRP at $1.3550, followed by the 50% Fibonacci retracement at $1.3430 and deeper cushions at the 61.8% level at $1.2588 and the 78.6% retracement around $1.1389.
Cardano is still capped below its long-term resistance cluster, formed by the 200-day EMA at $0.2449 and the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement at $0.2465. A confirmed breakout above this zone could extend the rally toward the $0.2887 swing high.
Solana is struggling to hold its $100 psychological support as momentum indicators point to easing upside pressure, with the RSI eased back from prior overbought territory and the MACD slipped below its signal line.
