Altcoins Draw ETF Inflows as Bitcoin Funds Post Massive Outflow
Spot crypto ETFs in the U.S. saw a net outflow of $51.11 million on August 28, marking the end of a nine-trading-day inflow streak for spot Bitcoin ETFs.
The $201.81 million outflow from spot Bitcoin ETFs eclipsed the combined net inflows of all other crypto assets in the same period, which totaled just $102.18 million for spot Ether ETFs and $26.2 million for XRP ETFs.
However, altcoin-focused ETFs continued to attract significant inflows, with Solana ETFs pulling in $193.41 million over the past 30 days and Hyperliquid ETFs taking in $64.5 million.
The trend of investors favoring spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs over others has persisted, with these two assets accounting for nearly 92% of the roughly $5.51 billion in net inflows to spot crypto ETFs over the past month.
