Altcoins Face Technical Barriers as XRP and NEAR Rally Continues
XRP's consolidation continues after its powerful August breakout, with the daily chart showing buyers holding onto most of the move. The asset is currently trading at $1.42, comfortably above all four major moving averages.
The main zone to watch is $1.33, $1.36, as a breakdown below it would expose $1.24 and undermine the recovery structure. A break above $1.55 could reopen the path toward $1.70, but that requires clearing significant local resistance.
Stellar (XLM) needs to reclaim the $0.189, $0.190 200-day EMA to confirm its recovery and open the way toward $0.20, $0.22. The current recovery would be at risk if it stalls at this level, while a sustained rise above $0.190 could challenge the prior reaction area around $0.21, $0.22.
Dogecoin's (DOGE) recovery remains intact, but its price needs to break through the critical resistance of $0.094, $0.095 before a broader bullish reversal can develop. If it succeeds, $0.10 and then $0.105, $0.110 could become significant resistances.
Near Protocol (NEAR) has produced a strong breakout, rising roughly 60% from its August low. However, with an RSI near 75, there is a risk of short-term profit-taking, which could lead to a correction down to $2.40, $2.45 or even deeper.
