Altcoins on Brink of Explosive Returns as Analyst Predicts Up to 1000x Gains

Matthew Hyland, an analyst, recently compared the June sell-off to March 2020 and predicted that altcoins could see returns ranging from 10x to 1000x after the pullback. He pointed out that many altcoins could recover within months rather than years, citing previous market recoveries.

Hyland used the S&P 500 as an example, noting that it took 13 weeks to recover from its March 2025 low by June 2025. He believes that the current rally will be similar and won't take years for altcoins to recover, but instead only a few months.

The analyst also pointed out that Ethereum, Cardano, and other tokens could deliver outsized gains if his comparison plays out. However, he emphasized that this view comes with an important condition: if Bitcoin falls below $65,000, it would weaken the argument that the bottom is in.
