Altcoins Outshine Bitcoin in Two-Year Trading Volume High

Altcoin trading volume reached its highest share on Binance in two years, surpassing Bitcoin's own trading activity for the first time since August.

According to Cryptoquant data, altcoins accounted for 65% of Binance trading volume during the recent rally, while Bitcoin held just 21% and Ether accounted for 13.6%

The surge in altcoin trading volume came despite a strong run for Bitcoin, which saw its value surpass $81,000 on August 25.

Market capitalization also grew significantly, with altcoins rising by about $135 billion during the same period.
