Altcoins Surge as Bitcoin Holds Steady Near $65K

Cryptocurrency markets are off to a strong start today, with most major coins showing gains. Bitcoin remains relatively steady, hovering just below the psychologically significant $65,000 level at $64,928.47.

Ethereum and BNB also posted small gains, rising 0.32% to $1,919.39 and 0.47% to $594.99, respectively.

However, it's the altcoins that are really driving the market today, with Solana leading the charge at 2.49% to $75.48 and Avalanche not far behind at 1.85% to $6.55.

XRP also rose by 1.61% to $1.04, while Dogecoin added a speculative lift with a 1.12% gain to $0.07.

The only decliner among the tracked coins was Cardano, which fell 0.77% to $0.20.
