Altcoins Surge Past Bitcoin in Binance Trading Volume

According to recent data from Binance, altcoins have surpassed Bitcoin in trading volume, accounting for more than 60% of all trades. This shift is a stark contrast to just last year's bear market, when spot Bitcoin trading volumes plummeted to similar levels.

The decline in Bitcoin's share to 22% and Ethereum's to 18% suggests that investors are rotating into altcoins in search of higher volatility and stronger short-term returns. Analysts point out that Bitcoin's recent period of limited price movement has led traders to seek alternative opportunities.
