Altura Brings Institutional Yield Strategies On-Chain with Morpho Partnership
Altura, a multi-strategy DeFi yield protocol built on HyperEVM, has announced its integration with Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol. This partnership allows AVLT vault shares to be used directly as collateral for borrowing stablecoins within the permissionless lending market.
The launch of this new market marks the first time that AVLT vault shares can be used in this way, enabling holders to access USDT0 liquidity without exiting their yield position. As Ranveer Arora, Co-Founder & CEO at Altura DeFi, noted, 'AVLT was designed to put institutional yield strategies within reach of every investor.' This integration takes that a step further by providing a level of capital efficiency that didn't exist for this type of asset before.
The indicative rates at launch are approximately 12.25% APY for lending and approximately 14.25% on borrowing. The Morpho protocol's permissionless architecture supports isolated markets with custom risk parameters, making it particularly suited to structured asset classes like AVLT.
